Menu Gîtes de Broue

Presentation of the 3 houses of Broue

The Gîtes de Broue have been creatively designed from a large country house parts of which date back to the 16th century.

They are ideally situated in the South Charente 20kms from the Dordogne, the Gironde and the Charente-Maritime, nestling in rolling hills by the little rural community of Sainte Souline..

This large country house has probably always been more than one household, but now three confortable gîtes have been expertly crafted from the ample space:

La petite maison
Le gîte des artchitectes
La Maison du Père Constantin
(West / 8 persons)
La Petite Maison
(South / 2 adults + 2 children)
Le Gîte des Architectes
(North/East/ 7 persons )

Each gîte opens onto large private gardens.
The gîtes can be opened up inside to cater for large parties or several families, sleeping 18-20 people.
The house has been lovingly restored to reflect and respect the original style of the building within its environment.
For example all the fireplaces and "warming cupboards" or "potagers" as well as all the furniture are traditionally charentais, whilst care has also been taken allow for all modern comforts.
The kitchen in each gîte comes fully-equipped with electric oven; hob and extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, washing machine, electric coffee-maker, iron and ironing-board.
Each gîte also has a central-heating, a television, a BBQ and garden furniture.

La Piscine de Broue
